You can apply through World Packers and Volunteer World but we suggest to apply through our website in order to save these websites’s fee.

Yes, you’ll need a volunteer visa. The process is simple, and we assist volunteers in applying for it online. You can also get one upon arrival at the airport if you prefer.

No, but we suggest vaccinations like yellow fever, typhoid, hepatitis A and B, Covid-19 and routine vaccines. It’s also advised to take malaria prophylaxis.
Tanzania is generally safe, but like in any country, it’s important to take precautions. Follow the advice of local authorities, avoid walking alone at night, and be mindful of your belongings.
Volunteers have Wi-Fi at their accommodation. Additionally, when you arrive, we’ll take you to get a local SIM card. Buying it here it’s cheaper than eSim.
Pack light: breathable clothing for warm weather, but also modest for cultural respect. Bring comfortable shoes, your scrubs and stethoscope, a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, swimsuit, and any necessary medications.
We provide a volunteer house and host families, a great way to immerse yourself in daily life and connect with the community. Rooms could be shared, with a maximum of two people of the same gender per room.
Travel insurance is not mandatory, but we recommend getting one to cover potential medical expenses. It’s better to be prepared for unexpected situations, and having insurance can give you peace of mind while volunteering.
The minimum stay is 2 weeks. But it will take a few days to settle in. The longer you work in a project, the more you and the project will benefit. Due to visa regulations, the maximum time is 6 months.
The local currency is the Tanzanian Shilling (TZS). We’ll take you to exchange money at exchange bureaus. ATMs are widely available in cities. Credit cards are accepted in major shops and restaurants but not widely elsewhere.
Yes, you can! Most volunteers come on their own. You’ll meet other volunteers, locals, and host families, so you won’t feel alone. It’s a great opportunity to make new connections while contributing to meaningful work.
